I was having a nice stroll through the meadow today and I stopped by a lovely pond to sit -- I was joined momentarily by this majestic hawk.  Such beautiful company!

The Sun

Big news - the sun finally returned today!  After many rainy days it was quite a welcome sight!

A cold day in the northeast.  We've had  relatively mild weather so far this winter - I guess it's one last hurrah for the cold.
