Out Like A Lion

March came in like a lion (with a snowstorm) and is also going out like a lion (with rain).  Let's start April off right - with some sun and warmth!

This is what spring should look like -- but it doesn't look like that today!  This is New Orleans --where I am -  it's snowing  today (ugh).

Shining

The skyscrapers in midtown Manhattan shine in the afternoon sun.  Today's the last day of winter - but snow is expected tomorrow.

Waiting

The birds are waiting for spring to arrive -- only two days away.  Now - can we please get rid of this snow!!

Nice day to be outside -- relatively warm -- considering the winter we've had.

The ice has melted in the harbor -- a lovely day today -- spring is in the air!

We still have a lot of snow on the ground -- but it is slowly melting -- spring arrives this week!!

At Town Hall

Wonderful show last night at The Town Hall on West 43rd Street -- Seth Avett and Jessica Lea Mayfield sing Elliot Smith.  Simply charming!

Saint Louis Cathedral -- stunning and majestic -- with a sky to match!

Fountain

Tucked away in a courtyard - a lovely fountain is decorated in Mardi Gras beads.

Architecture

I love every style of architecture in New Orleans -- one of the special buildings in the French Quarter.

Horse

I love the way someone decorated the horse ' hitch' on Royal Street.

Colors

I have so many great pictures from New Orleans - I can probably post one each day until the snow melts in New England!  I love the bright color of the wall near Frenchmen Street - the bicycle goes perfectly!

Majestic

The incredible historic Saint Louis Cathedral stands guard over Jackson Square on a glorious sunny day!
