It's a beautiful day in the country - but I'm on my way to Brooklyn for a Vampire Weekend concert!

An Angel?

The Brant Foundation in Greenwich is an amazing place - they currently have a wonderful Warhol exhibit in their gallery. The grounds are also stunning - on a polo field.  This beautiful sculpture by Urs Fischer is (I think) supposed to be an angel - that's how I see it!

Chilly Weather

A lovely sunny day today - but chilly - I think it's supposed to warm up by the end of the week.

Feels Like Summer

We've had a little heat wave for the past two days - my favorite beach cottage at Compo Cove still looks as if it's the middle of the summer!

Memorial

The hauntingly beautiful September 11th Memorial in Westport.  Taking a moment today to remember all those who lost their lives that tragic day 12 years ago.

I am fascinated by the elegant ironwork of the stoops on the old houses in New York.  This beautiful stairway is on East 95th Street.
