Sunny Days

Today must have been one of the top ten days of the year - weather-wise.  A perfect day to take a walk along Hillspoint Road and down to Old Mill Beach.

This bungalow on Compo Cove looks like the quintessential spot to spend summer at the beach!

With high tide coming at 6 pm this evening - late afternoon was the perfect time to go out on the kayak and enjoy the gorgeous day!

Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day Parade in Westport is a wonderful yearly event that brings the community together to remember those who fought in our wars.  It was extremely warm and humid today - but a very enjoyable day.

The Big Weekend

The Memorial Day weekend is upon us - after a mainly rainy, dreary week - the sun finally came out around 6 pm.  Hopefully it will stay around for many outdoor activities all weekend!

Kayaking Weather

I have been enjoying the incredible weather of the past few days - it has been perfect weather for kayaking.

Rhododendrons

The rhododendrons are blooming all around town - in many shades - but the ones in my front yard are the most beautiful.

Green Eyes

Sugar Plum always looks good in green --- it goes with her eyes.  The sun finally came out late in the afternoon - but all the rain this week has been good for the grass.

Downtown Westport on a gray and rainy day - looking across the Saugatuck River at low tide.  Tomorrow looks to be a better day - with warmer temperatures and some sunshine - I'm excited to get the kayak back in the water for the season!
