Casa Galecia
Casa Galecia Terra Nosa Bag Pipe Band marched in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York on Saturday. I was very intrigued as to why a Spanish bag pipe band would be at an Irish parade - and I tried to find out more about them. I was not able to find out much - however I did find that long ago -- people from Galecia in northern Spain settled on the island of Ireland - I will have to look into this more thoroughly!
